Review of Adrift (2018) by Lloyd K — 31 May 2018
Woodley was SO perfectly cast for the part in every way. It's her movie as a woman warrior survivor, but Claflion as rugged yet soft and supportive counterpoint gives the film it's depth. Loved the seamless segues between sunny and sensual romance in Tahiti to the remarkable cinematography of the open ocean scenes and hurricane sequences.
The perfect music score and selected songs add to the emotional payoff. What a lovely way to start the summer!
