Review of A Film with Me in It (2008) by Andrew T — 02 Jul 2009
What a load of old bollocks. Firstly: it pretends to be a dark comedy, but ends up being unfunny, unsuccessful farce. Makes the mistake of referencing the Coen brothers, making you wish you were actually WATCHING Fargo instead.
Not one of the characters has an ounce of truth to them, nor do they react in any sort of believable way to the events that surround them. The cast seem to have all been on sedatives for the entire shoot.
The cinematography is just plain ugly. And the ending is as preposterous as it is predictable. It's not funny, it's not dramatic, it's just kinda...dull.
