Review of A Cock and Bull Story (2005) by Vlad L — 25 Aug 2007
This film is a perfect modern rendition of the 1759 novel, which is famous for being postmodern before there was any modern to be post about. The screenplay captures what the novel's authour achieved: a complex, yet unpretentious play on the theme "but I have not yet been born".
Coogan and Brydon's beautifully painful egocentric quibbles are in the thick of it all.
