Review of 8: The Mormon Proposition (2010) by Todd S — 26 Nov 2010

It's hard to give my opinion of this film. I can't say I believe 100% the facts presented about the Mormon Church and how they were involved. My own Mormon background verifies that the film took things out of context.

But I won't deny the fact that the church went too far and crossed the boundary between church and state and even their own doctrines and beliefs. On the other hand, this films portrays beautifully the struggle that the GLBT community faces and how unfair, unjust, and inhumane our society is in equal rights.

There is a group of people who are neglected, and this film sparked a light inside me to focus more of my efforts in the fight for equality.
