Review of 5ive Girls (2007) by Gabby C — 15 Jun 2010

This movie deserves an 80% in my opinion, just because of the great acting (especially from Jordan Madley and Jennifer Miller). The story itself is a bit cliched and perhaps trying too hard to be titillating to be realistic (for example, no headmistress uses rear-slapping for a punishment). On another note, some of the special effects are very unrealistic as well.

However; the chemistry between the characters and the definite "eerie" tone that the film sets out is very down pack, and delivers exactly what is intended. The ending of this movie is the best part, as it is not predictable nor cliched as the rest of the plot may be.

Not your typical horror film, I recommend this to anyone if they have the time. Nothing that most people should go out of their way to see though; but very nice if you're bored.
