Great idea, but an incredibly slow moving British propoganda film about German kriegsmarine stranded in Canada after their U-boat is blown to pieces. Their hope is to cross Canada and escape into the US (which at the time is not involved in the war) and get to the German embassy. Or hop a Japanese freighter.
This might be a cool movie to remake sometime, without all the long winded speeches.
