It feels really genuine and pulsates with the energy that makes people like Ian Curtis get into music. Steve Coogan is superb in a largely straight role. The soundtrack is almost perfect.
And if you are quick you can rent this before seeing "Control", the new movie about Curtis and Joy Division.
