Wow, this is really one of the best sequels I've ever seen! Especially since it's a follow up to the grand daddy of all sci fi films, I have to give it a lot of credit for almost being as good as the original. Emphasis on almost. The cinematography was beautiful, acting top notch, and script was well structured. Excellent pacing. The story did not feel rushed at all.

I really recommend this to any sci fi fan, but of course after seeing the original first.
