Review of 20,000 Days on Earth (2014) by Eric H — 01 Dec 2014
This film looks great and it is edited beautifully. I love how while the events themselves are fictionalized, the actual content is still very much real and it provides much insight into the life of Nick Cave from his family life as a child to his professional accomplishments.
Cave comes off as a very interesting person as his views on song writing are very fascinating and he tackles a lot about creativity and what it means for one to try and pursue it. It is an extremely well done documentary full of interesting tidbits on Nick Cave, but it also serves as a great look into the lives of artists and the thirst of creativity that drives them.
