By Sara Michelle Fetters (1,688) for MovieFreak.com (1,674) on 13 Mar 2009

This is a movie that, even with the slightly lurid nature of some of the subject matter, is as endearing and loveable as these things get,…

Review of Miss March (2009)

By Sara Michelle Fetters (1,688) for MovieFreak.com (1,674) on 13 Mar 2009

The whole thing left me bored, and if I'd have remembered to wear a watch I'm sure I'd have looked at it a half dozen times waiting for the…

Review of Race to Witch Mountain (2009)

By Sara Michelle Fetters (1,688) for MovieFreak.com (1,674) on 13 Mar 2009

I've seen Disney put better looking productions together for their cable television channel, so much of this looking so horrible and unfinished…

Review of Watchmen (2009)

By Sara Michelle Fetters (1,688) for MovieFreak.com (1,674) on 06 Mar 2009

Snyder's take on Watchmen is both too much and too little all at the same time, and while a great deal of it is certainly extraordinary the…

Review of Crossing Over (1983)

By Sara Michelle Fetters (1,688) for MovieFreak.com (1,674) on 06 Mar 2009

Its meandering threads don't have the intensity or the emotion required for many of them to resonate, a talented cast of veteran character…

Review of Fired Up! (2009)

By Sara Michelle Fetters (1,688) for MovieFreak.com (1,674) on 20 Feb 2009

Review of Friday the 13th (2009)

By Sara Michelle Fetters (1,688) for MovieFreak.com (1,674) on 13 Feb 2009

After drowning in so many putridly awful Saw sequels (and they're imitators) it's actually kind of nice to watch a horror movie that's more…

Review of Coraline (2009)

By Sara Michelle Fetters (1,688) for MovieFreak.com (1,674) on 06 Feb 2009

If there has ever been a case of visual style winning out over substance than this is that case, Selick weaving a web of almost ridiculous…

Review of He's Just Not That Into You (2009)

By Sara Michelle Fetters (1,688) for MovieFreak.com (1,674) on 06 Feb 2009

It is the exception to the rule, proving that even bad movies can offer up just enough of merit and wonderment to make them, not just worthwhile,…

Review of New in Town (2009)

By Sara Michelle Fetters (1,688) for MovieFreak.com (1,674) on 30 Jan 2009

This is a movie that feels like a clock radio with a stuck snooze button, the clichés as ripe and as annoying as that never-ending buzzer…

Review of My Bloody Valentine (2009)

By Sara Michelle Fetters (1,688) for MovieFreak.com (1,674) on 23 Jan 2009

Personally, thanks to that stupid turn of climactic events I think it's at best okay, and not even a three dimensional pickaxe to the jugular…

Review of Inkheart (2008)

By Sara Michelle Fetters (1,688) for MovieFreak.com (1,674) on 23 Jan 2009

Instead, much like a forgotten piece of pulp fiction, this film evaporates instantly from memory, the book closing on this one's chances of…

Review of Not Easily Broken (2009)

By Sara Michelle Fetters (1,688) for MovieFreak.com (1,674) on 09 Jan 2009

It is an insult to the viewer in every single way imaginable, so destructively manipulative it makes everything that happens next nearly unwatchable…

Review of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008)

By Sara Michelle Fetters (1,688) for MovieFreak.com (1,674) on 02 Jan 2009
