Review of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018)

By Nicholas Barber (220) for BBC.com (1,500) on 17 Jul 2018

As for the writer-director, Ol Parker, he doesn’t come up with any urgent artistic reasons for the existence of its follow-up, Mamma Mia…

Review of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018)

By Nicholas Barber (220) for BBC.com (1,500) on 13 Jun 2018

Review of Whitney (2018)

By Nicholas Barber (220) for BBC.com (1,500) on 16 May 2018

But perhaps by shining some light into this intergenerational darkness, Macdonald's film will help other suffering children, even in the homes…

Review of Fifty Shades Freed (2018)

By Nicholas Barber (220) for BBC.com (1,500) on 09 Feb 2018

Review of Black Panther (2018)

By Nicholas Barber (220) for BBC.com (1,500) on 06 Feb 2018

Coogler has taken every genre in which black characters are traditionally sidelined, and then, with considerable flair and boldness, he's combined…
