The son of a French nobleman, Albert de La Chevardière, viscount deLa Grandville, and of a rich American, Sophronia Reed-Williams, Yves de La Chevardière de La Grandville was born in a middle-income, and having studied among the Jesuits, completed his secondary studies at the lycée Janson-de-Sailly and gets lebaccalauréat.
