Roger Carel, his real name is Roger Bancharel, is a French actor born on August 14, 1927 in Paris. Major personality of the French dubbing, he has lent his voice to many characters such as Asterix, C-3PO, Alf, Winnie the pooh, Maestro, Kermit the frog,Benny Hill or Hercule Poirot. Roger Carel has announced that in October 2014 on Europe 1 that he decided to take his retirement ; Asterix : The Domain of the gods is his last work and last dubbing. It has a first vocation for the priesthood and completed his studies at the Institution Saint-Nicolas.
