Michel Serrault is a French actor born on January 24, 1928 in Brunoy and died July 29, 2007, in Équemauville. Married January 27, 1958 with Juanita Saint-Peyron, whom he had met at the conservatoire Maubel in Paris while he was taking acting classes, with the witnesses Jean Poiret and Françoise Dorin, Michel Serrault has had two daughters : Caroline, who died in a car accident in 1977 at the age of 19 years, and Nathalie. Juanita, known as Nita, died on November 15, 2008, will have been until the end the love of his life. It was one of the most popular and atypical of his generation, appreciated by both the intelligentsia and the general public to be cast with ease and authenticity, throughout a career high of one hundred and thirty-five feature films, in roles very different and original : the boulevard and the comedy absurd or delusional to a more dark through a range of dramatic interpretations, nuanced. He is the only actor to have won the César award for best actor three times.
Michel Serrault has acted in films with Liliane Rovère, Gérard Depardieu, Frédéric Pierrot and François Levantal.
Michel Serrault has worked with these film directors: Édouard Molinaro, Bertrand Blier, Mathieu Kassovitz and Claude Chabrol.
