Son of the writer occitan Léon Cordes, Michel Cordes was born in 1945 in Montouliers, Hérault. Having followed the theatre course at the conservatoire de Montpellier and the NPT deVilleurbanne, it has long been a sculptor and has lectured on theatre in his youth.
