French actor born Maurice Jean-Étienne Barrier on June 8, 1932 in Malicorne-sur-Sarthe, in the Sarthe. He has chosen to settle in the village of Montreal, in the Yonne. It has been seen in movies with Jean-Paul Belmondo, Jean Gabin, Alain Delon, Pierre Richard and Gérard Jugnotentre other. Maurice Barrier has started in the cinema in The Taking of power by Louis XIV Roberto Rossellini 1966. It is famous as the "second knife" of the French cinema in The tall Blond with one black shoe, Two men in the city, Cop Story or The Victory in singing. In the 1980s, it has chained big productions and films such as Street of departure ; it is made from more rare in cinema. He participated in the comedy musical Abbacadabra and Les Miserables, and has also filmed for television. He is the husband of Helene Manesse (and thus brother-in-law of the painter Claude Manesse and the actor Philippe Manesse. He is the uncle by marriage of Jérémy Manesse and the young singer Sarah Manesse).
