Frank Krog started out as scenearbeider and statist at Den Nationale Scene in Bergen in 1969, but later moved to Oslo where he went on Teaterhøgskolen. He went out of the Teaterhøgskolen in 1979, and was known throughout the country with roles in the movies Hard Asfalt (1986), Brown bitter and Blucher (both 1988).
