The narrative structure of this movie is a real mess. The fact that it jumps back and forth chronologically compounds the confusion caused by having so many different story lines and characters. However, the drama of having so many people die in such a short span of time, and to do so not because of one or two incidents but because of almost a dozen separate accidents is compelling enough to overcome the flawed storytelling.
