Review of Silence (2017) by Bill K — 15 Jan 2017
I've seen this type of movie done better. This was a slog to sit through. The protagonists were waffling back and forth in an incoherent manner. The Japanese government were portrayed as sick, manipulative scum.
They might really have been that bad, but it made the movie weaker to have bad guys that were practically wearing horns and pitchforks. The movie couldn't seem to decide on a central theme and it came to a sputtering stop with Spider-man's death.
