Review of Redemption (2013) by Marc-Daniel O — 17 Sep 2013
Steven Knight proves here that Jason Statham can be more than a puncher. The staging remains neat and sober for both a redemption and vengeance story which never gets the audience bored. The film maker uses the context of unusual events to expose the torning apart of tortured souls doomed to perpetual frustrating and desperate fates.
Agata Buzek character could have been digged up a little bit more, and one would have expected a more consistent and deeper scenario. Unfortunately scrutinizing people feelings is not enought to setup a complete good movie.
