Review of Plan B (2021) by Progboy — 28 May 2021
Hilarious and engaging buddy comedy with a serious message about the real life impacts of oppressive social policies. It never becomes preachy, indeed it’s laugh out loud for almost all of its short, fast-paced length.
The two leads are a revelation, the story works surprisingly well, and the dialogue is sharp and believable. There’s one gross-out scene involving a dare and a piercing but that’s as close as it comes to crossing the current line.
