Review of I Am (2011) by Richard W — 24 Apr 2011
Cinematically a good production as documentaries go, but the sound production was a little tinny. I am an intelligent design type of guy, so I was a little annoyed by evolution being shoved down my throat.
Oh the narcissism! Shadyac sold his mansion and moved into a trailer, but man, that's a NICE trailer. It's not a Alabama trailer by any means. It's a little bewildering that Shadyac found himself in a material tail-spin to begin with, given the excellent public service example set by his father.
Dude, if you're feeling guilty by your consumption and excess, buy yourself a nice little house like everyone else and chillax - but don't make a movie about it.
