Went to this movie swelling with Gisborne and New Zealand pride. Left humiliated. This is the worst Kiwi movie I have seen. The poster and trailer make you think you are going to see a gritty, raw revenge film, but what you don't realise until the credits is that this is a movie funded by a wealthy New Zealand Church trying to ram positive Christian values and themes down the viewer's throat.
It seems to have been written by a bunch of rich, white City Impact Church Aucklander's who thought that they could write an inspiring story for a lower socio-economic group they clearly have no clue about.
The acting is weak as is the highly unlikely story line.
