Review of A Doll's House (1973) by Matthew M — 29 Sep 2009
A Doll's House is based on a play. I was required to watch this as part of my women in the world class. Though the film takes place almost all in the house it has smart dialogue and it is an important play.
The idea of a woman leaving a man like that during the time the play came out was highly controversial. It kept with the old style. The acting is really well done and without the film would have been a lot worse.
Overall, I had no real expectations because I never heard of the movie but it definitely is good.
