'Life on the Limit' (or '1' as it is referred to here for some reason) is an interesting and well-made look at the history of F1. For those not interested in the sport, however, it's surely a bit of a snoozefest.

Firstly, I hate to say it but I sometimes didn't really catch everything that Michael Fassbender said. I like the guy but, maybe narration isn't the best move for him.

Anyway, this is a solid documentary with some cool archive footage and interviews. For the most part, it covers things that fans of the sport will already be familiar with but there is the odd extra in there too, such as how Bernie Ecclestone (unfortunately) managed to become so powerful.

It's almost two hours long though and it's hard to imagine someone who isn't that interested in the sport really being won over here. It's a niche one for sure. If you aren't particularly familiar with the sport but would like to see a film that might draw you in then, 'Senna' is where you should be looking.
