Review of Zelig (1983) by Muhammad A — 06 Nov 2008
Woody Allen's clever observations on mass society and the accompanying loss of identity take the form of a fake documentary about Leonard Zelig, a fictional character, who compensates for his own anonymity by assuming the personalities of the people around him.
Within it are clever swipes at organized religion, fascism and a society entertaining itself to death. Brilliant!
