Review of Zeitgeist: The Movie (2007) by Neil K — 03 Aug 2008
A conspiracy theory movie in 3 parts. The first deals with theories of the historical origins of modern religion, the second with evidence that the Trade Center bombings were an "inside job" and the third with the global finance industry and an emphasis on the history of banking and taxation in the USA.
First part excellent, reasonable arguments from evidence but the stream of logic takes a huge leap to the conspiracy stance, that there is a coherent order/logic/reason or program propagated by shady figures behind the scenes. The facts are good but the argument breaks down between the interpretation of theevidence and the conclusions drawn.
