Review of Yuma (2012) by Cheyenne L — 02 Sep 2012
Exceeded my expectations, a more thoughtful film than I had anticipated. Explores issues of reparation and justice inside what is portrayed as an endemically corrupt society. Charts the descent/ascent of the lead character (Jakub Gierszal) as he becomes something of a modern-day Robin Hood.
Makes a nice change to see the culture and morals of a foreign country other than the US of A portrayed on screen.
