Of course this movie tells of Taiwan, but it is also definitely universal. It is the fruition of a profound reflection on life, a keen observation of modern lifestyles coupled to a great sensitivity. I came out of the cinema hall some years ago feeling so captivated.
.. and still feel the same when I have a chance to see it again.
