Review of Year of the Horse (1997) by Jarett B — 05 Oct 2014
As a film it is, well, brutal, and not because it is a mix of super-8, 15mm, and high-8, but because Jarmusch's stamp is nowhere to be found. It is like he expects The Horse to jump out of his images and attack the viewer: ain't happening.
On the other hand, it's Neil, so it rocks (musically).
