Review of Woodlawn (2015) by Joshua P — 10 Oct 2015
This is a great story. Wonderfully acted and well written. It is a true story about what happened near Birmingham, Alabama in 1973 in a suburb called Woodlawn. During the height of the Jesus movement Sean Austin's character believes the message of Jesus is as important and powerful for his town he lives in - simply put, People need to know Jesus.
As it turns out they did and the football team is transformed and they begin to affect the town and city for Jesus. At the same time.
The football team will attempt to do something that wasn't possible before... Win.
Some of the best football scenes on film. This is the best high school football film I have scene and probably the best football film out there.
Go see!
