Review of Wonder Woman (2009) by Tony H — 31 Mar 2009
For one of the 'Big Three', Wonder Woman is a little under-used in comics - the creators never seem to know what to do with her. Rather than adapting any particular story, this movie wisely takes in the best bits of the best stories and weaves them together and it's a blast!
It's well-animated, has a tight script and excellent cast - balancing violent mythology with laughs. DC's animated straight-to-DVD movies are going from strength-to-strength and it's nice to see Wonder Woman done right.
Oh and Nathan Fillion steals every damn scene he's in.
