I don't understand all the negative reviews. This movie is amazing on every level: acting, writing, cinematography, editing, casting, and, yes, directing. Biggest surprise: Jim Belushi is shockingly incredible - his best work.
It's beautifully shot. This is filmmaking at its best. I suspect all the negativity is because it's Woody Allen's movie.
