Review of Womb (2010) by Edmund C — 19 Oct 2010
With a subject matter both (uncompromisingly) sci-fi and icky, this is always gonna be a hard-sell. In addition, the snail like pacing and the glum North sea setting do not help. Compared to Never Let Me Go (matter of fact sci-fi premise) and The American (for its European pacing), this further pales along side it and fail to inspire and engage me like those other films.
I'm sure there are other people more fond of it, but sadly it doesnt work for me.
