Review of Willow (1988) by Benjamin R — 22 Feb 2009
Sometimes in life a film comes along that stays with you no matter how old you are, you just love it. For me it is Willow. I remember seeing it at the cinema with my Dad when it first came out and I loved the whole thing. I rate this as my favourite movie of all time. It has everything, excitement, adventure, comedy, action, magic, mystery, romance, monsters, wizards, warriors and even a chase sequence.
The score is incredible and when I hear the music I am transported to the specific scenes they were featured in.
Really I can find nothing wrong with this film. To me it is the closest to perfection you can find when it comes to the fantasy genre.
