If there is such a thing as an indie-actioner, then this is it. African country, European family, coups, killings and general mayhem. The subtle character exploration of Isabelle Huppert's character versus the action-heroes and bands of revolutionaries.
It shouldn't work, but somehow speaks to the reality of the insanity of civil war.
