Review of What Richard Did (2012) by Channa M — 06 Jun 2013
The feeling of impending doom that sits across the first half of this film is so prominent it makes for a thought provoking and heavy experience from the opening scene. A fascinating character study of the ramifications of a seemingly perfect young man doing a horrific thing.
The performances are all excellent, especially from lead actor Jack Reynor, who I am sure we will see a lot more of.
Can't say I'd ever want to watch it again, or even that it was an enjoyable experience, but it was an experience I really appreciated and one I am sure I will think about again.
