From the amazing choreography to the more sensitive moments of love and bereavement of Tony and Maria, this is a truly epic musical. As well as emotions of the characters being brilliantly conveyed, its songs and dialect, especially from the Jets, are refreshingly funny.
This gives West Side Story a perfect balance between musical comic relief and emotional sincerity. Utter brilliance!
