Now, some movies are disturbing, but I don't think I've ever seen something as disturbing as this. I honestly don't know if I could watch it again. It was amazing, an incredible movie, all the performances were amazing, direction, blah blah blah, but it was absolutely terrifying.
Like a lucid nightmare. Just thinking about it now feels like wandering into a dark place and not being able to get out. I loved it though. I like to say that if a movie is so disturbing and has such a profound effect on you that even the thought of some of the scenes makes you uneasy, it's doing something right.
We Need to Talk About Kevin is doing a lot of things really right.
