Review of We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011) by Jeff M — 28 Dec 2012
One of the best films of 2011 hands down, this remarkable and chilling study in psychopathy and the nature-vs-nuture debate is guaranteed to grill your nerves unmercifully. Tilda Swinton & Ezra Miller are both unforgettable as the mother and son, respectively, in this searing adaptation of the award-winning novel by Lionel Schriver, who gave her seal of approval to the film.
Multiple viewings only increase its psychological power, expanding insight and highlight the film's exceptional construction and direction. Don't miss this one!
