Review of Wavelength (1967) by Andrew G — 12 Oct 2007
A classic of structural film. Wavelength is a novel idea: a zoom for 45 minutes that is more pivotal than the semblance of faux-narrative elements placed within the film. However brilliant it is conceptually and intellectually, the film is quite inaccessible and - besides some humorously bad acting from the great Hollis Frampton - not particularly entertaining.
Recommended for those interested in a challenging and intellectually stimulating film.
