Review of Washington Square (1997) by Radek C — 19 Apr 2009
We keep complaining about the contemporary world - just take a look at those 18-19th century people - they had really messed up lives. Anyway, the film's boring - visually and storywise (a costume drama plus unhappy love story - wow! that's new) it's as dull as it can only be, a big, no.
.. a HUGE yawn. Chaplin was alright however, a bit neurotic, but acceptable.
