Unrelenting in its action-packed two hours, War of the Arrows is a rip-roaring series of battles and narrow escapes as our plucky hero Nam-Yi races to rescue his equally plucky sister Ja-In from the clutches of thoroughly dastardly Manchu invaders.
Viewers who can overlook the obvious symbolism (don't mess with seemingly puny Korea!) will find much to enjoy in the blizzard of arrows, swordplay and helter-skelter camerawork.
