Review of Wanda (1970) by Michael L — 18 Oct 2008
This is one of my favorite movies of all time. Wanda, becurlered and completely devoid of emotion, is late to her divorce and custody hearing, she gives her children away with no fight and walks away into a series of bizarre relationships and circumstance.
It is surprising how apathetic she is to everything going on around her. It stars and is directed by Barbara Loden. I don't think Loden ever made another film, but she didn't have to. she left an underground classic to posterity.
