Review of Waiting for Forever (2010) by David Ray G — 06 Jun 2011
I swear I must have reviewed this movie ten times by now! I have no idea why Flixster is being cantankerous and doesn't post it! This is my last attempt, darn it!
Truth is, this movie was largely disappointing. I liked the two brothers mostly when performances are concerned, and absolutely hated Rachel Bilson. I don't think she was good enough in this particular role (which wasn't all that difficult, but still).
The story COULD have been interesting, if it wasn't so...random. It's scattered all over the place. Stalking can be romantic to a degree and Will was rather...psychotic about it, so I'm not sure why the stalking part was so romanticized (it didn't really seem to matter to Emma for instance).
It's sappy and creepy and rather terrible. Interesting soundtrack though - and...that's about all the positives.
