It's one of Almodovar masterpiece! The movie shows the dignity of women, specially those many who suffer devastating tragedies caused by men. It is also a story about life, is about how things can be sometimes really hard for all of us.
The film shows hard things we must do to survive and protect the people who depend on us. Almodovar doesn't shows here an illusion neither a silly dream. And Penelope Cruz is simply amazing as Raimunda! She does not make you dream about something but make you reflect about it.
This is reality. This fillm makes us to reflect on women's beauty. Not only their appearances but their strengh! Again, not for all tastes. But it is a must see for all people who still has a heart!
