A horror movie explicitly made for fans of the slasher genre who miss what the Halloween and Friday the 13th franchises once were. Here we have an undead, virtually unstoppable killing machine going after a crop of mostly pretty and young actors.
It doesn't try to be smart, funny or clever, and so misses where most recent horror movies have failed. Instead, it's a bloody slasher flick. If you like them, pick up Venom.
