This is one of the best films that Jean-Claude Van Damme has starred in. I'm surprised by this as there appear to be some major continuity errors following the original and the utterly heinous sequel.
Despite that this is a good stand alone effort that is aesthetically superior to virtually, every film that he has starred in, by some way.
