Sean Stone does a terrific job portraying the story of a Union Soldier's capture by Confederate forces, his escape & the struggle to get back to his Union troops. The escapees are aided by slaves through what is now known as the Unsderground Railroad.
Based on the diaries kept by Joseph Hoover, the movie shows the struggles & life altering decisions men made during the Civil War. Thought it was terrific.
