Review of Undertow (2009) by Faust S — 21 Mar 2011
An unconventional theme of story with powerful meaning, just like any other art, it is to be appreciated justly only for those who knows true art. Astonishing use of the 'long - lost' style of writing, the subtlety of metaphor and dichotomy/irony.
Though it feels as if it was cut too far from the end, and the evolution of their relationship is not revealed in full grasp for the audience, in deep apprehension of going about what had already happened, the exquisiteness of the film further 'haunts' along in extent.
